 | Shirley A. Matz, president of MATZ Accounting Group, has 30+ years of experience in bookkeeping. She attended Stark State College and, prior to establishing her business in 1993, was employed as the private bookkeeper for Raymond C. Firestone, retired chairman of Firestone Tire & Rubber Company, Akron, Ohio.
A member of the National Society of Accountants, the National Assoc. of Professional Bookkeepers, and the Sales & Marketing Executives-Akron (currently serving on the Board of Directors), Matz is also active in numerous civic and business organizations in Northeast Ohio. She has served on the boards of both the Lake Township Chamber of Commerce and the Lake YMCA.
